Frutic 2026
Science symposium at Fruit Logistica 2026
The FRUTIC International Symposium took place on the Farming Forward Stage at FRUIT LOGISTICA 2026 and provided a platform for bringing together science, practice, and industry in the fresh produce sector. The symposium presented insights into current research and facilitated exchange between researchers, practitioners, and technology providers. Contributions covered various aspects of the fruit and vegetable supply chain and addressed topics related to sustainable, data-driven horticulture.

A look back - History of the Fruit Symposia
FRUTIC looks back on a long-standing tradition of international exchange. The first symposium took place in Israel in 1983. Since then, FRUTIC has been hosted in various countries around the world – each time bringing together researchers, industry experts, and practitioners to share knowledge and drive innovation in the fresh produce sector. In 2026, the symposium returns under the organisation of Leibniz Institute for Agricultural Engineering and Bioeconomy (ATB) – and once again offers a unique opportunity to connect science and industry at Fruit Logistica.
